The Saddle Shack started in Elora Ontario in 2001 as a hobby small business. Steve started doing leather work 10 years before mostly for personal use and for close friends. With positive feedback and increase demand for quality workmanship and custom tack, The Saddle Shack was launched. The Saddle Shack is now located on the outskirts of Mount Forest, Ontario. We have purchased a hobby farm, this way we can work and play all from the same address. We believe in quality workmanship combined with using outstanding products from various suppliers.We only use North American tanned leather and solid brass or stainless steel hardware.
As of 2010 we have built a new showroom, we now carry a variety of accessory items, Classic Equine, Mayatex Blankets.
We won't sell anything we wouldn't use on our own horses.
